about

Petty is a song we wrote when the George Floyd protests were happening in America. It was a pivotal point in American and Canadian history where marginalized people in both countries voiced their grievances over their mistreatment by law enforcement. It affected many people around the world, and many people we know and call our friends. We could never walk in their shoes, but by writing and releasing this song to the world we hope that people won’t forget to help each other out, and to stand up to hate.

Thank you. Peace and love.
